During his time at the firm, Paul advised business clients in all aspects of general corporate and business law for over 25 years. His depth of experience representing corporate business clients and advising in-house counsel across a wide spectrum of corporate, business, and financial matters, including financings, mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, asset disposition transactions, as well as day-to-day legal challenges, provided him with the perspective necessary to assist clients in accomplishing their business objectives. Paul worked with a range of clients in a variety of industries and sizes, from small, closely held family businesses to large international corporations.
Paul also brought considerable experience in corporate restructurings, workouts, bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial law. He represented both debtors and creditors in out-of-court restructurings, workouts, and coordinated wind-down and liquidation processes. Paul has represented various stakeholders in all aspects of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases, including secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, trade creditors, debtors, creditors’ committees, and trustees. He has advised numerous clients in connection with asset sales conducted through the bankruptcy process.
