Partner Katie M. McDonough had the honor of presenting Register of Probate, Rosemary A. Saccomani, with a prestigious citation during the Hampden County St. Thomas More Red Mass event. Each year, the St. Thomas More Society honors members of the legal community who have distinguished themselves by acts of public service and commitment to the law. Rosemary, who has dedicated her life to public service, was recognized for her exceptional commitment to families in need and her invaluable contributions to the Probate and Family Court.
As Register of Probate, Rosemary serves as both a magistrate and a Family Court mediator. She leads a team of 40 dedicated professionals who assist individuals from all walks of life through their most challenging legal matters. Under her leadership, the Hampden County Registry has been recognized as the “flagship” Registry of Probate by Chief Justice John Casey of the Probate and Family Court.
“Rosemary represents the best of public service—dedicated, knowledgeable, and always putting people first,” says Katie. “Her career demonstrates that public service is not about merely performing a role; it’s about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives and treating everyone with respect and fairness. Rosemary’s commitment is a powerful reminder that, as legal professionals, our work can create positive change in the community.”
Katie has been a member of the St. Thomas More Society of Hampden County for seven years, and she serves on the board of directors of the Western Massachusetts Catholic Foundation.
