Kirsten Kenney is a Partner and Vice Chair of the Real Estate group. Her practice focuses on commercial real estate law in both finance and development and her clients include some of the nation’s largest banks and commercial developers. Kirsten has extensive experience working with lenders in a wide variety of complex commercial real estate financing matters, including bilateral and syndicated mortgage loan transactions and mezzanine loan transactions. She also advises lenders in a variety of workout and restructuring transactions.
Kirsten’s experience on all sides of various commercial real estate transactions, including financing, leasing, and acquisitions and sales, gives her an in-depth and nuanced understanding of the complex interlocking roles that each party plays in any large commercial real estate project. Specifically, given her experience representing both borrowers and lenders in various types of finance transactions, Kirsten can swiftly identify pressure points and offer her perspective in the life cycle of a deal.
